Currently reading update: This library has a funky smell

Under the Never Sky
by Veronica Rossi
Post Apocalyptic/ Romance/ Dystopia

Aria is a teenager in the enclosed city of Reverie. Like all Dwellers, she spends her time with friends in virtual environments, called Realms, accessed through an eyepiece called a Smarteye. Aria enjoys the Realms and the easy life in Reverie. When she is forced out of the pod for a crime she did not commit, she believes her death is imminent. The outside world is known as The Death Shop, with danger in every direction.

As an Outsider, Perry has always known hunger, vicious predators, and violent energy storms from the swirling electrified atmosphere called the Aether. A bit of an outcast even among his hunting tribe, Perry withstands these daily tests with his exceptional abilities, as he is gifted with powerful senses that enable him to scent danger, food and even human emotions.

They come together reluctantly, for Aria must depend on Perry, whom she considers a barbarian, to help her get back to Reverie, while Perry needs Aria to help unravel the mystery of his beloved nephew’s abduction by the Dwellers. Together they embark on a journey challenged as much by their prejudices as by encounters with cannibals and wolves. But to their surprise, Aria and Perry forge an unlikely love - one that will forever change the fate of all who live UNDER THE NEVER SKY.

School has officially started, pure joy is radiating through my body as I, well, type this, or maybe that's just the hunger gnawing at my stomach. Whatever it is, it's painful as hell.  I am updating (a late update I guess I'll apologize for *looks away*), but it's a lame and failed attempt at an update, it'll just  have to do as of now.  My classes this semester has taken away my precise reading time, my ever fateful books I love so much, I just do not have that much time for *starts to hyperventilate*.  I will survive!!!! :) *music starts playing in the background* Wow, I am being really over dramatic today. Guess it's from being stuck reading text books I do not want to read.... Anyways, I am currently sitting in my school's library and it has this funky oder to it today. Don't get me wrong I usually love the smell of libraries, the smell of books and coffee is like an epic mind explosion of smell for me, but my school's library smells like old gym socks and Doritos today with and underlining hint of something I just can't put my finger on...mmhhmm.. Anyway, aside from an unknown smell, I am currently trying to read Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. I am only a few chapters in, because of my classes *stares at texts books, willing them to explode into flames*, I have to say it is becoming a very engrossing book. I literally had to make myself put it down last night so I could go to sleep, which was hard to do. The characters are engaging and enticing, the genre, not truly original, is different and unique in its own way. The author, who I have not read before, can definitely  make you become truly wrapped into the world she has created. And I am thoroughly enjoying it!
This is a book I  would recommend for enthusiasts of romance and dystopia genres/ series.  I wish I had time to sit down and become completely absorbed. But atlas I can not, damn classes, but I know as soon as I finish, it will be a book I will place among my favorite reads.
So enjoy and don't forget to bring febreze for smelly libraries.

**If you are a fan of the Covenant series and Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout (who is my absolute favorite author ). Check out her official website and blog. She has been posting teasers for Onyx, which have left me fanning myself and craving for more :) Takes deep breathes!! I am sooo ready for Onyx and Shadows to be out!!! I. MUST. READ. THEM. NOW....**
