Waiting On Wednesday #8: Ashen Winter (Ashfall, #2) by Mike Mullin

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking The Spine, it spotlights upcoming releases that we are dying to read.

This week on my WoW I am spotlighting Ashen Winter, book two of the Ashfall series by Mike Mullin.

Find it on Goodreads:
Ashen Winter: by Mike Mullin

It’s been over six months since the eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano.
Alex and Darla have been staying with Alex’s relatives, trying to cope with the new reality of the primitive world so vividly portrayed in Ashfall, the first book in this series.

It’s also been six months of waiting for Alex’s parents to return from Iowa. Alex and Darla decide they can wait no longer and must retrace their journey into Iowa to find and bring back Alex’s parents to the tenuous safety of Illinois.
But the landscape they cross is even more perilous than before, with life-and-death battles for food and power between the remaining communities.
When the unthinkable happens, Alex must find new reserves of strength and determination to survive.

  3. Hi Magen. This book sounds very intense!!

I wanted to thank you for the nice things you said when you stopped by my blog before! The stars are still there, don't worry!! I don't get alot of feedback on my reviews, as far as I'm aware my sister is the only one who reads them, so it's nice to have someone comment. Writing reviews is all new to me, which is something I haven't really done since school. So thanx for commenting and if you ever have feedback for me to help me improve, I'd love to hear from you!!

    Have a great day!!
