Author: J. Lynn (Jennifer L. Armentrout)
Category: New Adult
Genre: Romance / Contemporary
Rating: 5  stars out of 5
It’s Wait for You as you’ve never seen it. Trust in Me lets you in on Cam’s side of the #1 New York Times Bestselling story.

Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life – literally – he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam’s not ready to give up. He can’t get the feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.

Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. Will persistence (and some delicious homemade cookies) help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery's life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?

My Thoughts

Only Jennifer can write a book, a story that has already been told, from a different perspective and make it feel like I was reading the story for the first time! Yes, though I knew what was going to happen, Trust in Me felt like a whole new adventure at times. And I loved that! Being inside Cameron Hamilton’s head is beyond amazing. And listen to me girls; you want to meet this fictional hunk!
Avery...Hell, she completely undid me.
First things first, I adored being inside Cam’s head. This boy is purely male. And I loved that! To see the world through his eyes was an experience and I got a different view point of his and Avery’s story. Now, their story has already been told, yes, but Jennifer done it in a way that it never  felt dull or boring. That is true talent. She also kept the story fresh and even added in scenes we didn't get in Wait for You.

I love the way that Cam thinks. Again, he is all male. And Jennifer is very good at writing male characters. His story was told brilliantly and seamlessly.  All his thoughts and emotions, well, they made me feel the feels in the deepest of ways. I was swept away, and I couldn't put this book down!

The world the Jennifer created also expands with this book. The story and the characters, along with their world, becomes much more than a story. It felt real. The depth to the story line for not only Cam’s and Avery’s story, but for the other characters is very much there. The pacing was wonderful, and the characters outstanding.

Another thing I enjoyed so much about this book was the chance to get to know Jase, Ollie, and Cam’s family. They appear a lot more in this book. And I love Jase and Ollie! They are great characters, and I know I am going to love their stories as well. Though we didn't get a lot of Cam’s family, I did adore them!

Also being able to see Avery through Cam’s eyes was so, so sweet! That boy had me swooning in all the right ways and had me turning into goo! I didn't think it was possible but I love Cameron Hamilton even more now!
The truth was, if I was perfect, if was only because of her. It would only ever be because of her.
Though this story has already been told, Jennifer made it feel fresh and unique. With the extra never before read scenes, new depth was added to the story and the characters. I was once again lost in this story, re-falling in love with characters I already loved, and getting a better understanding of Cam’s emotions and thoughts. That was a great experience!

Those you LOVED Wait for You will LOVE Trust in Me! It is a great addition to this series, and, god, I want more Cam already!
