Title: The Hit List
Author: Nikki Urang
Genre: NA Contemporary
Publisher: Spencer Hill Contemporary
Release Date: November 11, 2014
About the book:
To eighteen-year-old Sadie Bryant, getting into the Los Angeles School of Performing Arts means a fresh start away from everything that happened in New York. Away from the ex-partner who left so he could follow his dreams, away from the mother who doesn’t have time for her, and away from the friends who have all moved on to better jobs without her. But this time, she won’t be left behind. This time, she’s the one leaving.

When she arrives in L.A., starting over is the least of her worries. She’s forced to dance with Luke, the school flirt she knows she can’t trust. And even if she could, it’s hard to focus on trusting someone new when every student starts getting emails for a new blog called The Hit List. The blog posts the weekly results for a sex game awarding points to guys for sexual acts, with bonus points for sex with specific girls.

As Sadie grows closer to Luke, trusting him not just with her dancing, but with her heart, she learns to let Luke in instead of pushing him away. But when Sadie finds out she’s at the top of The Hit List and suspects Luke is playing the game, the trust they’ve worked so hard to build is shaken to the core. Speculations fly over who started the game and Sadie winds up in the middle of it all. Now Sadie has a choice: believe that Luke would never intentionally hurt her and forgive him or turn her back on him, destroying the girl she became by learning to trust again.,
